What does a Master Elite contractor signify? Being part of GAF’s Master Elite Certification program allows the contractor to offer warranties that not every contractor can offer. A contractor must go through a strict screening process
and
training in order to verify that they are up to the standards of GAF. 
Only 2% of all roofing contractors are qualified as Master Elite. 
Here are the qualifications needed to be invited to their Master Elite program

  • This certification requires a minimum of 7 years of experience
  • Needs to be renewed yearly
  • Properly insured & licensed
  • $1M+ Liability Insurance
  • Workers Compensation Insurance
  • State licensed where required and applicable
  • Reputable & trustworthy
  • With a track record of providing quality roofing services in your community
  • Good standing with the Better Business Bureau
  • Good credit rating per Experian

  • GAF trained and certified
